Mick Murphy founded the company in 1976 and has been the driving force behind its expansion and development ever since. He has over 40 years’ experience in the construction industry and his hands on approach to the company have brought it to its prominence today. He is responsible for identifying all new business opportunities and he also oversees the completion of all projects on time.

Phil Creagh
Commercial Manager
Phil joined the company in 1985 and to date has more than 35 years’ experience in mechanical estimating and quantity surveying throughout a broad range of engineering industries. His responsibilities as commercial manager include the identification and development of business opportunities and the profitable management of projects and contracts from inception to completion. He also makes plans to meet with clients, gain materials and resources and to overall keep commercial operations and resources accurate.

Eugene Mehegan
Detail Design
Eugene has worked with Murjoy for over 22 years to date and has more than 35 years’ experience in the construction industry. His overall responsibility is for planning engineering and more specifically detail design.

Kevin Sheehan
Quality Manager
Kevin joined Murjoy in 2004 and has 35 years’ experience in quality control. He is responsible for all QA/QC and documentation in the company. His major duties include the provision of standard operating procedures for the design, fabrication, welding, testing and final inspection of all piping fabrication, installation and testing. He is responsible for all company documentation and traceability packages for workshop and site based mechanical installation projects. Also he has the duty to review client documentation and procedures at tender stage and project set up.

Ann Horgan
Health, Safety & Environmental Co-Ordinator
Ann is responsible for co-ordination and implementation of Murjoy’s Safety Management System, which has been Safe T Accredited since 2010. She has worked with Murjoy for more than 25 years and is well experienced with the requirements for HSE within the Construction Sector and the need for constant improvements..
